About This Event

As technology changes and more media outlets compete for customers’ time, creating an enjoyable experience has become critical to both attracting and retaining users – and so UX has come to affect all areas of business. This class aims to demystify UX by giving a practical and simple introduction to what UX is, while also explaining some of the core concepts of user centered design (UCD). This class will highlight ways in which agencies and corporates that can be educated to create and grow a dedicated UX team.

Prepare to dip your toes into an ocean of new concepts that will broaden your understanding of and empower you to be able to sell User Experience more confidently.

George has over 15 years of experience working at pure digital agencies in London and Melbourne, leading teams to deliver measurable results for international brands through beautiful, engaging digital experiences.

George has defined agency and organisational processes and frameworks in UX and digital delivery, drawing on his broad client experience in information architecture, web development, usability, project management, strategy and agency leadership.
Currently a Senior User Experience Designer at Deakin University, George loves combining his UX and commercial business experience with his passion for coding and visual design.
